Whether you’re completely new or looking to deepen your practice, there’s always space to meet yourself exactly where you are.

About Tammie

My journey into yoga began in 2015 while studying Dance and Performing Arts at LIPA. From my very first class, I fell in love - not only with the movement, but with the sense of connection, community, and freedom it created. Yoga quickly became more than a physical practice; it became a way for me to express myself freely and authentically. That experience transformed my life, and I now aim to create that same space for others, where empowerment, self-discovery, and connection are always at the heart of the practice.

In May 2022, I completed my 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training with The Yoga Academy Liverpool and began teaching across Liverpool and Manchester. I later deepened my practice through 100 hours of Rocket® Yoga training with the Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga School, before gaining my Level 1 Rocket® teacher certification with David Kyle in London.

At the beginning of 2024, I relocated to the North East and now teach across Gateshead, Newcastle, East Boldon, and Sunderland. I currently offer Rocket®, Yin Yang Flow, Vinyasa Flow, and Hotpod Yoga classes.

My teaching style combines playful, creative sequencing with opportunities to challenge yourself, always encouraging students to explore safely and confidently. Expect a well-rounded practice incorporating strength, mobility, breathwork, and meditation, with options to meet you wherever you are on your journey.

Alongside my regular classes, I have taught across a range of retreats, events, and private settings. I have led three UK weekend yoga retreats, with another coming up in January, as well as day retreats, half-day retreats, yoga socials, and wellness events. I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with leading brands including Lululemon and Burberry, bringing yoga and movement into unique brand experiences.

I also offer private 1:1 sessions, including working with a Newcastle football team player, tailoring practices to individual goals, needs, and lifestyles. More recently, I have been working with a charity to deliver 1:1 sessions, alongside developing my experience in corporate wellness and teaching corporate yoga classes. I love adapting my teaching to different environments and people, creating practices that feel accessible, engaging, and meaningful -whether in a studio, workplace, retreat setting, or one-to-one.

Alongside yoga, I discovered Pilates - a practice that beautifully complements yoga through its focus on body awareness, alignment, and mindful movement. It deepened my understanding of the body and inspired me to train in both Mat and Reformer Pilates. My classes are dynamic and engaging, combining classical Pilates principles with a modern approach. Through the use of props and bodyweight exercises, I aim to make every session functional, challenging, and fresh. Whether on the mat or reformer, my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to grow in strength, confidence, and body awareness.

More recently, I’ve reconnected with my dance roots through Barre. This joyful and energising practice blends elements of ballet, Pilates, and dynamic conditioning, bringing rhythm, grace, and strength together in a unique and expressive way. Barre has brought a renewed sense of creativity and playfulness to my teaching, and I love sharing its uplifting energy with others.

Whether you join me for Yoga, Pilates, or Barre, my classes are an invitation to explore, express, and evolve - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
